The Norman B20 HG 6-String Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Solid Spruce Top, Black. Beautifully built instrument that produces wonderful tones with clear bass, prominent mids, sweet trebles and excellent projection.
The Norman B20 HG is the same guitar as the standard B20 but with a gorgeous high-gloss finish. The high gloss finish used on the B20 HG is comprised of eight coats of lacquer which is buffed down to the equivalent of about six coats—a process that takes about eight days to complete. The B20 is the foundation of all the Norman guitars. The solid spruce top and high-gloss finish alone distinguish this guitar. The three-layer laminate of wild cherry wood used in the back and sides of the B20 produces a tone that sounds warmer than maple but brighter than a mahogany guitar. The B20's tone works beautifully for recording and blends nicely when amplified on stage.
